Entered a long position with ten pips profit and stop loss is still 30 pips which is way below the recent lows. Perhaps I should let this one go since its super oversold right not according to all the I dictators.

Day 10

USDCAD was the only pairs that made sense technically to go short on this morning. All the other pairs were at their extreme and did not move much. So week two ended breaking even for the month. The extra trade on CAD brought me a little above for the month but it’s nothing to brag about. Monday and Tuesday were horrible days with bad judgement. I should not make big trades with iPhone chart because it’s very misleading. Missed opportunities are not as bad as digging myself out if a big hole. Look forward to next week. And I can’t believe we are done with half the month already!

Euro got a boost today from fear of inflation and I got a boost in my account selling USD. Now $150 down for the month. Could have made more if only I didn’t set a TP for USDCHF. TP was hit during the drive to work. One more day left this week to break even!

Day 8

Got burned big time today and now in the red for the month. $700 down is not too bad considering the size I’m trading at now. CHF was rebounding from yesterday’s loss and it spiked up passed a pivot line convincingly at 3am. I was up by 10-20pips but did not take early profit instead I added more to the positions before driving to work. All pairs except EURUSD short turned against me and I closed all trades for a loss.

Not happy but I did not take a revenge trade and go in the opposite direction. All pairs turned around for great gain but who knew it would move that much?

If only I didn’t go to work today.. On a Wednesday.. Which is my day off normally. Ok we still have two more days to break even for the week!

Day 7 caught CHF weakness at work and gain some ground back from the big loss on Monday. Sold CHF on all pairs available and managed to exit early and near the peak of the day on all pairs all within an hour..

Day 6

Stayed up talking to someone and entered a trade on the wire and got burned. Was too confident going in with two full lots when wire broke out the box on the top side. Market was choppy and got burned some more in the morning at work. Back to being conservative again…

Night 5

Tonight is a little bit different. Euro have been dropping every day this whole week and the indicators are saying oversold and even the long term stochastic is flat lined. however the short term stochastic is on it’s way down so it not a safe bet to go long for short scalp gamble like last night. Going to bed with no entries. I don’t expect too much more action since it at the territory of previous low where euro rebounded from all that news about PIGS debt problem in Europe.

So the 10 pips scalp from last night flat line move was a success. Euro hit TP right on the dot before it turned the other way! Day 4 was uneventful with more trades in the early morning.

Today was the first day I had to go back to work and was shocked by the amount of tasks listed for me. So Melanie and I went into IVI to do our sampling and turn the end when we were finishing up around 7 I got a tweet saying euro drop on concern about growth. So I took the phone and ran to the closest window which in in the refrigerated room! Checked the price on euro and saw a small spike down breaking previous lows. I shorted eurusd 1 mini lot at first and then saw better chart on the 1hr so I entered a full lot short. Went and look at other euro pairs like eurchf also and shorted that one also. Cable was also dropping and I jumped in on that also. It was a good thing iPhone chart doesn’t show too much history because I didn’t see how volatile cable was acting all morning.

Overall it was a great day. Not as big as yesterday but I made enough to match how much I made on a full day of work so that’s always my goal. To replace my real job income.
